This session is meant to provide Hotel and Club controllers and finance staff with knowledge about current strategies in energy management and the green energy movement. Troy & Banks will provide meaningful and practical information that will enable Hotel and Club finance staff to reduce their energy and phone expenses and become more energy efficient.

After attending the lecture, you will be able to:
1. Be well informed regarding energy management strategies, including demand response opportunities, and recent trends in the green energy and efficiency movement.
2. Mitigate energy costs going forward by learning techniques you can implement on your own.
3. Remember examples of energy efficiency improvements that have meaningful impact on the bottom line.
4. Understand forensic bill audits designed to recapture overcharges from your utility, phone, and water providers.

Brandon Jonas, Director of Marketing & Public Relations – Troy & Banks, Inc.

Since starting at Troy & Banks, Inc. in 2008, Brandon has held many roles for the company. He is the personal account manager for numerous organizations and entities nationwide, including the City of Virginia Beach, Richmond City Schools, WNY Public Broadcasting Association and the Cornell Club in New York City.

Brandon was also recently promoted to Director of Marketing & Public Relations and leads the company’s efforts in these areas. He was selected to speak at the 2010 HFTP Club & Hotel Controllers Conference in Orlando, has hosted a webinar for the ProLinks Webinar series through HFTP National, and has been a guest speaker with several HFTP Chapters, including the Greater Houston, Long Island, and New York City Chapters.
